Bark Rangers

Love walking your dog in our parks? Become part of the Bark Rangers and help us keep these spaces safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone!

Bark Rangers are community-minded dogs and their humans who help look out for the trails, fields, and shared spaces they already enjoy. Whether it’s picking up litter you come across, reporting a hazard, or sharing when you’ve helped clear small branches or debris, every little bit helps. Bark Rangers must be licensed with the Town.

As a Bark Ranger, you can help by:
  • Picking up litter during your walk
  • Reporting hazards or maintenance concerns
  • Helping clear small branches or debris when appropriate
You do not need to do anything formal or strenuous to be part of the effort. By taking small actions to address the issues you can and notifying the Rec Department for the issues you can’t, we can make the parks a more enjoyable experience for all!

If you enjoy spending time in our parks with your dog and want to be part of keeping them in great shape, we’d love to have you join the Bark Rangers community!
