Introduction to Ballroom Dancing
Learn the joy of dancing with a partner whether you are preparing for your wedding dance or just want to have fun. Studies show that social dancing makes you smart. No other activity integrates so many brain functions at once — kinesthetic, rational, musical, and emotional. Social Dancing encompasses music, motion, rhythm, and mathematics and is an excellent exercise in a pleasurable atmosphere offering social interaction, romance, memory training and fun. Learn the waltz, foxtrot, merengue, chacha or any other dance you request. Singles and couples welcome!
Swing dance
This style originated in the African American communities of Harlem, New York City, in the 1920s and 1930s, evolving from jazz music. It is a lively, fun dance, still popular today.
