Greenvale Summer Camp 2025

GREENVALE DAY CAMP! SUMMER 2025
Our popular day camp program offers a quality, structured program at an affordable price.  Activities include Crafts, Games, Sports, Brain Games, Science, Self-Esteem Building, Nature Activities, Performing Arts, and more.

Greenvale Day Camp is an outdoor camp for campers ages 5 (having completed Kindergarten)  to 11. Teens & Tweens (12 to 15) or as we prefer to call them,Senior Campers, have more varied activities. This includes some of our basic program areas (Sports, Science, Weekly Theme and Brain Games) as well as activities geared towards learning and practicing other life skills. This will include job preparation skills and money management skills. Participants will also work as "buddies" with our younger campers for part of the day. Senior Campers will also take part in off-site trips. Past trips have included bowling, Adventure Escape Rooms, Sharpe Bounce, and more.

For the younger campers we have special event days with visitors such as a petting zoo,  yoga sessions, and more.

It is held at Greenvale Park, 2260 New Hackensack Rd.

We offer six weekly sessions beginning Monday, July 7, 2025. You can register for all six weeks or just the weeks you would like. Each week will have a different weekly theme for your children to enjoy.

Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Extended care hours are available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We offer off-site trips for children ages 12 and older, but new in 2024 we will be introducing off-site trips for the younger children as well during Week 3 of camp.

5 year olds must supply proof of having attended Kindergarten upon request.

See what a typical camp day looks like in the Sample Daily Schedule below.

Our staff is
carefully selected, trained, and motivated to offer the best camp experience for your child.  The Staff to Camper ratio does not exceed 1:10.

OPTIONAL CIT TRAINING PROGRAM

CIT PROGRAM TRAINING FOR 15 YEAR OLDS only
JR. CIT PROGRAM TRAINING FOR 14 YEAR OLDS only

If you have a child who is 14 or 15 years old, they can register for camp at a discounted rate and take part in our Counselor in Training (CIT) program. A CIT and Jr. CIT will act as an assistant to the Camp Counselors while being trained to become a counselor at the age of 16. This is a rewarding position for those who like to work with children. Being a camp counselor, starting at age 16, is a great experience and it is a position they can come back to once they are in college and returning home for summer employment. The CIT program is designed for campers who want to become counselors at age 16. The CIT and Jr. CIT program is not an employment position nor is it a guarantee of future employment. CIT applicants are interviewed before being selected.

CITs can choose one of two sessions or both sessions. Sessions are:

July 1 - July 26
July 29 - August 16

Select only the session(s) that are designated for CITs. You do not need to choose the weekly dates listed for campers.

CITs and Jr. CITs must fill out all of the forms and submit immunization records.

**To Register fo the CIT Program scroll to the bottom of this page. Register only for the CIT or Jr. CIT sessions of your choice. You do not need to register for each individual week.
